Technology and Clinical Efficacy of InfraRx™
Patented Infrared Heat Technology
The InfraRx™ Infrared Therapy System uses specialized carbon panel technology to relieve pain and reduce inflammation through safe, clinically proven therapy. The device measures 17”x15” and is made with 3 carbon infrared heat inserts incorporated into a fabric pad and is powered by 120 volt AC. The peak emission wavelength of the pad is 9.37 nanometers, and radiant energy is 11.5 MJs–1m–2Hz–1, penetrating 2.36 inches.
Far infrared radiation is in the range of 5.6 to 1000 microns and thus provides a deep penetrating therapeutic heat where injuries to muscles commonly occur helping to accelerate the body’s natural anti-inflammatory and recovery responses.

Usage
- Preheat unit for 10 minutes prior to use
- Place the hard side of the pad towards the body
- Recommended treatment time is a minimum of 30 - 45 minutes per session.
- Apply 2x/day for first 2-3 weeks
- DO NOT fall asleep against pad
Contraindications
- Do Not Use in Cases of: Pregnancy, Hemophilia, Severe Adrenal Suppression
- Do Not Use over pain creams or patches
- METAL IMPLANTS: Initially, use shorter treatment times on areas where there are metal implants. Gradually increase the treatment time until you reach the recommended minimum time of 30-45 minutes. If an uncomfortable heat buildup is felt during treatment, discontinue use.

How to use InfraRx™
InfraRx™ for the Back
Use the velcro straps to fasten the unit around your waist, then sit back comfortably in a chair or couch.
InfraRx™ for the Shoulder, Elbow, and Wrist
Use the velcro straps to fasten the unit comfortably around your shoulder and upper arm.
InfraRx™ for the Neck
Place the unit on a cushion against a couch, bed or floor and lean back. Adjust until the middle heat insert is against the main area of discomfort.
InfraRx™ for the Knees, Ankles, and Feet
For the knees and ankles, use the velcro straps to fasten the unit comfortably to you.
For the feet, slip your feet into the unit.
